1. What did you do in 2006 that you’d never done before?
I crossed the Atlantic. I featured in a music video

2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't have any New Years' resolutions but if i had to make some for this year i would try to be more relax in my everyday life.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My sister did. And it totally freaked me out

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.

5. What countries/cities did you visit?
I visited Montreal (actually i lived there for 3 months), New York, Stockholm, Ieper in Belgium (for a hxc festival), Chaumont.

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
Money.

7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory?
February 4 - Arrival in Montreal
May 6 - Back to Paris

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Promoting shows. School. Living on my own in a city i don't know. Being myself.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Some relationships. Losing contact with some people.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No. Which is pretty amazing for me.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Two train tickets for Chaumont. Plane tickets. And my new black coat that i love so much.

12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Chloe's, my best friend. She was always there for me. And my mom was a really awesome mom.

13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
I tend to forget those things. But if i had to tell some names : a. He's an asshole.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Coffees. Cigarettes. Clothes. Shows. Plane tickets. But to be honest i don't have that much money.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Promoting shows. Living in Montreal and going to New York of course. and MASTODON!! I get really excited about so much stuff...

Good question. Well i think that yes i am, even if i don't sleep, have a really stressing life.

20. How will you be spending New Year?
Celebrating New Year is a bourgeois value. So i spent my New Year with Nicolas, in our flat, watching Little Miss Sunshine and Clerks II with a bottle of white wine. And i got yellet at cause at 00:10, i wished him a happy new year, yes 10 mn too late. I'm bad.

21. Who did you spend the most time on the phone with?
Bozan: I call every day to ask him if he's ready for lunch (his classroom is 2 feet away from mine).
My mom.

22. Did you fall in love in 2006?
I fell in love with NYC.

23. How many one night stands in this last year?
No one night stands.

24. What was your favourite TV programme?
Lost, My Name is Earl, The Office US ( yes lame, i copy-pasted Nicolas' answers)

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
Yes. But they don't deserve it.

26. What was the best book(s) you read?
Oh Gosh. Every Richard Powers' book i read, House of the Dead (Dostoievski), Bob Dylan's Chronicles. Richard Brautigan's. Until i find you, (John Irving), The Perks of Being a Wallflower (Stephen Chbosky). Walter Benjamin, as always.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Drew Danburry. Omnikrom. Telefauna. We're marching on.

28. What did you want and get?
A Marc Jacobs dress (well not yet but soon)

29. What did you want and not get?
A video camera.

30. What were your favourite films of this year?
Little Miss Sunshine, Thumbsucker, Me,You and Everyone We Know, Brokeback Mountain, Thank You For Smoking.
The Weather Man, Roman Holidays (yes i know old news).

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 22. I had lunch with my best male friend Bozan, then went to drink wine with my best female friend Chloé, then i had dinner with my dear friend Mathilde. 28 people wished me a happy birthday. And Nicolas stayed with me, which makes him the best boyfriend i could dream of.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Being a rich scandinavian model. Living in the US.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Audrey Hepburn meets an hardcore tomboy.

34. What kept you sane?
Who told you i was? Lili, my cigarettes, my friends, and tons of coffee.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Chris Leo.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Saddam death. Israel/Lebanon war.

37. Who did you miss?
OH well : my friends (back in Montreal), Nicolas, Sarah (when i left Montreal) and now i miss Scott.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Sarah (even if technically i've known her for 15 years or so), Thomas, Riket, Drew, Scott, all the amazing bands we worked with.

my father is going to kazakhstan tomorrow, for 2 months. he's going to work for the european space agency, in baikonour.
i'm really happy for him, but it's just kinda strange. he'll be so far from us. and when he'll be back, my intern will be over, i'll be back from my holidays in roma and berlin, my hair will be much much longer.
but he swore he'll say hello to lenine for me, when he'll be in moscow (before arriving in baikonour, he'll sleep one night in russia). and that's awesome !!

on friday my schoolyear will be over.i can't wait to know what i'll study on september.

yesterday i went to the dalek+obey exhibition. drank 3 martinis. cool.

je suis un peu fatiguée d'entendre tous ces gens nous expliquer que si on veut voter "non" c'est parce qu'on est teubés, ou qu'on a pas compris la constitution.
si je votais oui à cette constitution, je désavouerai mon métier (sporadique) de libraire, car je mettrai à mal notre chère loi sur le prix unique du livre, qui résiste MALGRE les injonctions européennes.
Mais bon, tout ça c'est parce que je suis idiote.

Soit. sinon je vais bien, merci, ami fantôme qui hante ce lj. juste complètement fatiguée et débordée.
ah oui je vais sûrement revoir bright eyes, pour la 5ème fois. Mais bon.

J'aimerai vraiment voir The paper chase. et the good life.
Aujourd'hui j'ai manié plein de livres mis en pages par Massin, tirage de tête, signés.
Y en a un sur la couv il ya un miroir, sur lequel apparaît une tête, quand il entre avec notre souffle.
Au cas où, Massin c'est le mec qui a créé le mongramme nrf, ainsi que la charte graphique folio
qui a bossé sur la cantatrice chauve, qui a été DA de Gallimard pendant 20 ans.

j'ai enfin ma problématique pour mon mémoire de stage, et je finis mon deuxième livre. d'ailleurs si vous regardez "maisons de designers" "michael johnson" en d&d chez pyramyd, vous verrez mon nom ,sous l'appellation "édition".
cet été pour finir on va se faire un petit voyage paris --->rome---->berlin---->paris.

j'ai passé mon week end en teinture/décoloration de ma nuque. je dois prendre des photos pour vous montrer ma nuque blonde, et douce douce.
ma soeur arrive demain. veut que je l'emmène au conran shop au bon marché. juste le jour ou chloé n'est pas à son stand pléiade.

ce soir "comme un torrent" de minelli. notre 1er minelli, on a vu que des "collaborations".
emily qui arrive a 20h29 et 27 sec . la séance est complète. on offre nos places (gratuites) à un couple.
on a trainé à l'imprévu. bu des nectars,discuté. j'adore mes amis
des filles merveilleuses vraiment.
je pars mercredi pour mulhouse. affronter la crise

demain je serai en vacances. j'en ai plutôt besoin. mouvement m'a envoyé un mail très très urbain pour me dire que mon stage à cette période c'est pas possible
